Eng. Khaled Kacem - CEO leading Go Gas Upstream business
Khaled Kacem has over 31 years of experience in Executive Management, JV Management, Drilling, Operations and Project Engineering Management and has track records of delivering performance, adding value and growth in complex assets in the Oil and Gas sector.
Prior to his current role, Khaled had occupied the position of VP and Country Chair of Shell in Egypt between May 2019 and Feb 2024 and prior to that he was the VP and Country chair of Shell in Tunisia between 2016 and 2019.
Prior to the acquisition of BG Group by Shell in 2016, Khaled was leading BG Group’s business in Egypt as President and Asset General Manager after being the General Manager and Managing Director of the NOV Rashid Petroleum Company (Rashpetco) in Egypt.
He joined BG Group in 1998 and has held a variety of Leadership positions in Tunisia, UK and Egypt.
Prior to Shell and BG Group, Khaled worked for 6 years in an Oil & Gas Joint Venture company in Tunisia conducting operations on behalf of the NOC and Elf Aquitaine.
Khaled holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and holds a Management diploma from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) in the UK.
