During his time at Eni, Ahmed served as a cost recovery expert, where he was responsible for overseeing accounting and negotiations with EGPC on recoverable costs, natural gas pricing, and PSC terms for various licenses. At NPC, Ahmed was in charge of financial reporting, budgeting and planning, and evaluation of new ventures.
Ahmed holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Financial Accounting from the Helwan University. Additionally, he has a diploma in Corporate Valuation & Financial Modeling, and he is a certified Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst, which showcases his commitment to continuous professional growth.
Ahmed combines academic insights with practical know-how, which is a balance of knowledge and hands-on expertise. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated his skills in financial management, showcasing successes in areas such as mergers & acquisitions, securing funds, and financial planning and analysis. His ability to secure credit facilities from esteemed international financial institutions such as Mauritius International Bank, Arab International Bank, and Barak Fund, is a testament to his strategic foresight and negotiation acumen.
As a pivotal figure in steering financial strategy, Ahmed contributes to the organizational financial health with a wealth of knowledge and impactful experience. At NPC, his efforts were critical in a successful cost optimization exercise for a 2nd construction phase of an offshore platform.
